Hewlett Barn | Starkville, MS Wedding | Natalie + Brad

Mississippi , September 1, 2017

Dear Natalie and Brad,
Even though the heat was sweltering, the two of you were as cool as cucumbers. There was so drama, no moments of panic, just delight at pledging your lives to each other in front of your closest family and friends. Thank you so much for allowing me to be the one to document your beautiful wedding.  I hope your first few weeks together have been all you hoped they would be and more.
Cheers to you,
Nikki
As you will see, Natalie has excellent taste: classy, feminine, with a bit of spunk.

Gotta love a bride who has her ceremony shoes, and her dancing shoes. 🙂

Natalie’s dad passed away 10 years before she got marry the love of her life. I love how they chose to honor his memory.

Not sure what the guys were watching but no doubt it was very interesting.

Lookin’ good, Brad. Looking good.

A note to all future brides and grooms: take time to write your soon to be spouse a note!!! I promise you won’t regret it.

A quick note about these next few photos. What the exact temperature of that day was I’m not sure, but the heat index was well over 100 and it took about three seconds of being outside to start sweating. However, when you have a beautiful outdoor location, you’ve got to make the best of it. The bridal party photos were broken into three parts: bridesmaids, whole bridal party, and groomsmen. Before each part, I explained to the group how and where to pose and promised they would be outside for no longer than 2 minutes. I cannot thank them enough for being such excellent clients.

And obviously, they knocked it out of the park.

Ceremony time.

One of the many, many things I love about Natalie is that she loves outdoor photos. So right after they became man and wife, they snuck out for some photos…. and kisses. 🙂

Let the dancing begin!

If you need a band, I highly recommend The Flames.

Another note for brides: right before you leave, make sure to give your mama a hug and kiss.

Natalie and Brad, I loved being a part of you wedding. Thank you, thank you, thank you for letting me be your photographer.
