Bridal Session | Old Waverly Mansion | Natalie
bridal , August 9, 2017
As I was photographing you for your bridal session, one of the things I thought of was how hard it would be to wait to share these photos. I think everything about them is beautiful, not because of the place or dress, but because of who you are. You are such a joy and I am so thrilled for you and Brad. I hope you had a wonderful time on your honeymoon and I cannot wait to share your wedding photos with you.
Cheers to you,
Now, I really don’t have a whole lot to say about these photos because that a) Natalie is stunning and b) Old Waverly is stunning. When you put the two together, it’s really not too challenging to determine what the outcome will be. However, I will say that being photographed by yourself can be awkward. There is no one for you to react and respond to, making it more difficult to relax. Brilliantly, Natalie brought her mom and sister, who not only did an awesome job fluffing her dress and picking out the twigs and branches, touching up make up and hair, and most importantly, making her laugh. And a quick note about who’s not pictured – my little sister Emmy, who did a magnificent job of standing in the bushes and holding the reflector.
One of the many wonderful features that Old Waverly has to offer is that it is home to the largest magnolia tree in Mississippi. So naturally, we took some photos in front of it.
Oh gosh, Natalie. You are just gorgeous.
I’ll end with this one because the shoot would not have been the same without the ladies. Natalie, thank you SO much for choosing me as your photographer! I hope you had a blast during your bridal session. I know I did. 🙂
