Jiggetts Home Wedding | Canton, Mississippi | Grace + Thomas

photography , July 26, 2017

Dear Grace + Thomas,

I feel rather at a loss for words when I think of what to say about your wedding. To say it was familial does not describe the tenderness. To say it was simple does not explain the thoughtfulness. What set the tone for your day was love, love for God, love for each other, love for one another. And that made it all the sweeter to be a part of. I hope you have enjoyed every minute as husband and wife, and I cannot thank you enough for letting me be a part of your joyous union.

Cheers to you both,

Grace + Thomas had their wedding at the Jiggetts Home in Canton, MS which may now be one of my favorite venues. It is a gorgeous house that was built at then end of the 19th century. It has been wonderfully maintained and the owner, Susie, could not be more wonderful to work with.

You know I love a good twirling photo(s), particularly when a bride is beaming like that.

Oh Grace, you are so beautiful.

I don’t know if it is the movement, the anticipation, or a combination of both, but the photo above is one of my favorites for day. In a way it seems symbolic of their relationship; Thomas knowing what he wanted, and yet patiently waiting for Grace to come to him.

And I’d say she’s pretty happy she did. 🙂

Grace and Thomas, your day was full of a hundred kisses, the sincerest promises, and the tenderest moments. Thank you, thank you, thank you for letting me be a part of it.
