Jiggetts Home Engagement Session | Canton, MS | Grace + Thomas

Mississippi , April 5, 2017

Dear Grace + Thomas,

From the first phone, I was excited to work with the two of you. Everything from your story, to how you two interact with each other, to where you are getting married is a source of delight for me. Grace, that fact that you had decided to not get married makes Thomas’ persistence all the more impressive. And his respect for you is evident. It seems pretty clear that he knew you were the one for him early on. However, out of his love and devotion to you, he waited a year and a day to ask you to be his wife, as you had requested.  Simply put, you two are marvelous together. I hope these last few months of your engagement is a sweet time, and that these photos bless you, both now and in the years to come.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be your photographer! I cannot wait for June.

Until then,

Grace + Thomas decided to start their engagement session at the place where they will pledge their lives to each other: the Jiggetts Home, The house was built in 1833, and through lots of love has become one of the sweetest locations for weddings.

Another bonus about the Jiggetts Home is that it’s right next to the town square, which is where Thomas proposed.

As the sun set, we darted over to the Reservoir, a favorite spot of their’s, to wrap up their session.

The photo above is one of my favorites.

Hello, I am doing an engagement shoot in Canton, MS in the early part of January. I was wondering if there was a fee to shoot on your grounds or on your porch? Not necessarily inside the house? THANK YOU!
