Chandler + Carew | Engagement | Private Estate, West Point, MS
engagement , December 16, 2016
Dear Chandler + Carew,
I’m at a loss of words when it comes to your engagement session. Sure, I could talk about the beauty of the locations that speak for themselves, the chill that reddened cheeks and encouraged more cuddles. But more than that, what comes to mind is the love and care you have not only for one another, but for all you interact with. It’s so evident by how overwhelmed with joy people are for the two of you, how excited they are for the two of you to become husband and wife. That speaks volumes to me, and having to honor of photographing your first portraits together, well…. I cannot thank you enough for that. I so enjoyed our time together. I felt more like a gathering of friends, than a meeting with clients.
Cheers to you both, and wishing you the Merriest of Christmases!
The hardest part of Chandler + Carew’s engagement session was nailing down the location: downtown Columbus to take advantage of the industrial vibe, or go out the land that is owned by some of Carew’s friends. Two days before the shoot, Chandler and I went to scope out the property and absolutely loved it. So we opted for both locations because why not? 🙂
Oh my goodness, how can you not love them?
The amazing and wonderful thing about Chandler + Carew is how natural they are together. They were them, without putting on airs, and an absolutely delight to photograph.
Favorite image number one.
Oh Chandler, you are stunning.
And favorite image number two.
Meet Ferdinand, the bull.
And favorite image number three.
Chandler and Carew, I had the most wonderful time with you two. Thank you for braving the cold, dancing in the sunlight, and letting me document your love for one another.
