Meadowview Baptist Church + The Hunter Henry Center | Starkville, MS Wedding | Taylor + Montana
Mississippi , September 26, 2016
Dear Taylor + Montana,
Your wedding day had the type of loveliness a day can only have when surrounded by one’s dearest friends and loved ones. It was a beautiful celebration, a joining of souls that touched all who participated deeply. Taylor, you were nothing short of radiant as you made your way down the aisle to Montana. And Montana, as you pledged you life to Taylor, your eyes shone with love, pride, and joy.
Thank you so much for allowing me to document your day, and the very beginning of your life together. I wish you nothing but the best.
Taylor + Montana had their wedding ceremony at Meadowview Baptist Church, a pretty, older church in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful glass lining the walls.
I absolutely love the joy that is in the three images above. It set the tone for the entire day perfectly.
Oh Taylor, you are stunning.
I love seeing the personal details on bride’s bouquets. A special brooch may be my favorite way to finish it off though.
Taylor’s bridemaids were nothing short of fabulous and I must say that all looked beautiful in mint green.
And, I LOVE this image of Taylor with her flowers girls, aka Montana’s youngest sisters.
Looking good guys, looking good.
You’ve gotta love a groom putting the final touches on a letter moments before he hands it to his bride.
I can’t decide which image is like more, the top or the bottom….. Both are so beautiful.
Finally, wedding time!
HELLO MR. + MRS.!!!!
Birdseed: the original confetti 🙂
After their grand exit, we grabbed a few photos of the bride and groom before the reception. I think the joy and delight in Taylor’ eyes says it all.
To ensure that they got to say hello to all of their guests, Taylor and Montana, along with their parents, welcomed each of their guests as they entered the reception hall.
First dances are always some of my favorite photos from the day…. Always.
As if the photos above isn’t enough to make your melt, the story below will. A life long friend of Montana and his family passed away a few months before the wedding. The mother of the son who passed away was supposed to sing at the wedding, but in the end, it she wasn’t going to be able to. However, when it came time for the mother son dance, out the lady speed. Below is Montana’s mom expression. She sang the most beautiful rendition of “A Mother’s Prayer” and everyone was left fighting back tears.
I’ll end Taylor + Montana’s post with cake because who doesn’t like cake?
Taylor + Montana, thank you so much for allowing me to be your wedding photographer. I hope your first few weeks as husband and wife have been filled with joy, and I wish you all the best. 🙂
